Introduction: 

This is #3 chewing sensitive and we're replacing worn MO and DO composites. This is the procedure with Bond Saver D and Surpass.

I'm just showing the MO. This is an extra curved Triodent matrix with a white Wave wedge and a Garrison Ring forcing the wedge tight against the gingival margin.

After Clean and Boost for 15-20 seconds, rinse and dry.

Then Bond Saver D is applied, let to dwell for a few seconds and any puddles are removed. The surface must stay visibly wet.

3 Coats of Surpass 2 applied and dried completely.

Then Surpass 3 is air thinned and a layer of Titan A2 Flowable placed over it and both are cured simultaneously for 3 seconds with the Valo light on Xtra Power, or "plasma mode" (3200mW/cm2).

Exquisite is bulk filled and quickly shaped using Seamfree and composite instruments. Then cured for 3 seconds with the Valo light on Xtra Power (3200mW/cm2).

I did finish the DO section after that. The mesial occlusal embrasure is a bit too open, but the proximal contacts are tight.

Conclusion: 

So the procedure is Clean and Boost for 15-20 seconds, wash and dry, add 1 brush full of Bond Saver D to dwell for 5 seconds- remove puddles (remains visibly wet), 3 coats Surpass 2 and dry, 1 coat Surpass 3 air thin and co-cure Titan Flowable, and bulkfill or layer Exquisite.
