Typical feldspathic porcelains used for veneers, e.g.Finesse, Ceramco 3, Ducera, Noritake.

John-
In every above study, the tested porcelain was tested in "hand" rather than bonded on a tooth....
Isn't that a big factor that is missing from the equation? Perhaps when bonded on the tooth, the amount the porcelain is weakened by sandblasting is negated...

If the compromise is slight. Thing is, defects are created, like fault lines. With fatigue and stress those fault lines can be uncovered.

Again- the lower the flexural strength, the more likely the effect.
