Everclear is good, or just any 70% ethanol is OK too.

Darn, I have been using isopropyl ( I am talking ONLY for the final "sealant" layer, where I refresh what Sur 2 is left in the well).

When you guys alcohol prior to Sur 1 (to clean the prep), you use isopropyl, right?

Ethanol would be fine too.

Isopropyl also comes in two different strengths. Do you recommend one strength over the other. I usually use the 91%. Also, please clarify whether you can refresh the surpass 2 with 91% isopropyl or only ethanol.

The ethanol in Surpass 2 is 70%. I suspect that you could use pretty much any of the higher concentrations.
