you want a scotch tasting scott? meet me out one night in the city and and we can taste scotch to your heart's content! I'll be out for dinner early in nov with mike melkers and a bunch of townies in the city at the kinzie chophouse. come on down and we can grab a single malt. ( I hate scoth by the way! but I love that bubbly stuff that JK likes to throw around!!!!!)
BTW, JK does it bring you to tears watching baseball players just waste all that good champagne when they win a world series

Tim Burke and I just spent a day listening to John lecture in Edison NJ.
Flem, you are wrong. John DOES know what he is talking about. 
All kidding aside, he does a great lecture. Great information to use everyday in our practice. Even though we have him here, there is much more to pick up from him in lecture. I encorage everyone to go to a lecture of his.
He was very energetic the whole lecture even though he had two degenerate guests in his hotel room the night before with a bag of whisky bottles for a 3 person whisky tasting.
Great time and great lecture.
BTW- I'm sworn to secrecy but it sounds as if there are going to be some great new Apex products coming out the next year.

Apex Brut and later on in the year Apex Extra Dry.
I signed on to help in the development of Apex Single Malt Whisky.

It was great to see Howard and Tim at the lecture and I appreciate that they took the time to attend. They did indeed bring some great single malts and we tasted them properly.
Howard, I have a name for our new Apex single malt-- "Slothmore."
