Hi all-
I have loved surpass for many years.
I have had 3 cases recently (last three months) where I have been doing some class 4 resins, and they have debonded within a day or two-- an adhesive failure, not cohesive.
I am always very careful to avoid anterior guidance on these restorations.
My technique has not changed--
prep, isoporpoyl, rinse, dry, surpass as directed.
the only addition i have made is using a little seam free on my instruments to help adapt the resin.
Would you consider phophoric etch (prior to and in addition to) surpass 1?
It's very frustrating. ALl the surpass composnents are new, not expired, all the composites (empress direct and filtek supreme) are moderately new as well.
any thoughts/help are much appreciated. _________________ Bradley A Dorsch, DDS

Check your air supply. Always do that first.
You have any pictures of these restorations? Are they small incisal edge restorations? _________________ "You need me on that wall."
