Hi !
CliXdish is a mixing well provided by Dentsply with his bonding agent (Xeno V, XP Bond). His special feature is that it has a cap which allow it to be closed easily. Dentsply advertises that it gives you a 15 minutes working time with their adhesives. Could it work with Surpass ? I am keeping the Surpass 1 drop, but it would be cool to be able to use the remaining Sur2 and 3 when i'm doing multiple cavities during the same session. |

Feel free to try it. Just keep an eye on the color of the Surpass 2. It needs to be a pale yellow. You can add alcohol to it if it darkens. _________________ "You need me on that wall."

Ok thanks.
What with the ultrabrush ? Is it important to always use a new brush ? Can i reuse them (for the same session !) ? Do i need to clean them ? |

What is the real economic difference in using new brushes and material with every use.
You are using the best bonding agent around and I would think that you would want to use it in the most ideal conditions possible. I am sure that the results you get will far outweigh the cost of the materials.

I like the ultrabrush, but my biggest peeve with them is the collar is so wide - it often fouls on my matrix band or on cusp tips etc when I have a deep box. |

It was the best delivery system in terms of amount of material delivered. _________________ "You need me on that wall."

Wipe them off so the resin doesn't polymerize. _________________ "You need me on that wall."

Don't talk about cost of material when you don't know the level of fixed by state's fees in France... FYI, a one surface composite is 16.87 €...
Now i'm not looking to be cost savvy on ultrabrushes, but when you are doing 4 cavities in the same session and you need 12 wells for the drops, and 12 ultrabrushes, there is a moment when it appears a little bit too much... I'm working solo, and when the ultrabrushes start to stack and begin to fall on the ground, i'm wondering WTF !? |

Sorry for the reply. I just love these products and I never look at the small cost of a drop or a brush. I see such great recall visits that I guess I overlook all of that.
I am truly sorry for any offense.
Have a great day, and stick with Apex,
