I was actually a bit bored. 
He gave Surpass a recommendation saying he was "encouraged" by it's results. He said there needs to be some "independent" research done on it.
Other than that, he did not list or mention any other Apex materials.

There is no such thing as "independent" research.
What "independent" research did he offer for anything else?

Actually, I noticed that.
He was also talking about using Co-Jet to actually bond Zirconium crowns. Again, no data.

You mean, no "independent" data. I wonder why his seeing Surpass tested with his own eyes is not "independent."

That would be something you'd have to ask him.....I was busy trying to be a gracious host.
