I highly recommend that preps be sealed with Surpass prior to any polishing with silicone points. I recommend that it be done immediately after the use of diamonds or carbides and use those diamonds and carbides wet when finishing.
This will keep the point particles from getting jammed into the margins and result in a nicer restoration. _________________ "You need me on that wall."

I'm assuming you're talking about finishing composite restorations. Will Simplicity work as well for sealing margins?

To be honest, I am finding that I do not want to mar the surface left by the re-application of Surpass.
But try it and see what you think. _________________ "You need me on that wall."

I have been doing it John's way for almost a year now. No polishing at all.
Just get my final contours with my finishing burs and then apply Surpass.
Looks great... _________________ Take Care...Howard
