I've read to use a mix of A2 and WO anchor to seat translucent restorations to maintain the value, but I'm having a hell of a time getting it to work. Usually the value will increase (too much WO probably).

I'm getting tempted to use A2 only, but am a bit nervous as JK reports it can drop the value slightly.

Is there any way to trial the value change using A2 only?
Do i seat the restoration with the A2 anchor, have a peak, and if not happy with the colour quickly rip everything off and rinse with alcohol?

Part of this is I'm not comfortable seating multiple units at once, and so to get a consistent ratio of A2:WO between multiple units seems a tall order.

I most frequently use 3 parts A2 to 2 parts WO but feel free to alter that.
