I am about to change from SE to simplicity and I have a few questions. Sorry if these are repeats.

1. Is there a problem with using a micro brush for sim 1 and sim 2?
2. What is the need for multiple coats of sim 2 before drying? If the surface is covered then why does adding more coats change anything? The video makes it seem that most of the extra coats are blown out of the tooth.
3. There was a post about curing titian with the sim2. Is this ok with other flowables. I use clearfil majesity flow (great radiopacity by the way)

Thanks, can't wait for the SE to run out

No, but you ought to add a little more Sim 2 as microbrushes usually don't hold as much as the bristle brushes.

The solvent is what's really blown off the tooth. We found this technique to generate optimal bond strengths.

Likely, but I cannot for certain say as I have not tested it. Our flowable, Titan, also has exceptional radiopacity.

Welcome on board!

dvaughn...
As long as you are starting with a new bonding system, may I suggest Surpass rather than Simplicity?
I loved Simplicity but love Surpass more...
It has higher bond strengths too...
