I dont know if this subject been discussed before. I have been search on the forum, but I only find that Dr. Kanca mentioned he preferred fiberpost over metal post.
I wonder if I have only two option for now...would Dr. Kanca or anyone on this forum can give me a suggestion?
Much appreciate.

I have a case today, on 2nd lower bicuspid with very low crown length due to occlusion.
Previous RCT and had a screw type post that are short.
Plan: Prepare post space to optimal height
Still wonder if I should have cast post form or Pre-fab post with Anchor to lute the internal and build it up as well.

Again much appreciate the help.
BTW, I do use Simplicity, Anchor and Interface available.

I would have no problem with the pre-fab post. Watch the video on the website and do as you see, except I want you to light-activate the first layer for 30 seconds.

Thank you, Dr. Kanca
In general, do you feel Pre-fab is just as "strong" or well place as to cast post?
Another word, is there a senerio where one will be recommand over the other?
Again, as always, thank you for your speedy reply.
Sincerely,
Gary

Gary

I haven't done a cast post in a long, long time. I believe that what we use now (I use the Unicore fiber posts and PermaPost if I want metal, both from Ultradent) is as good as a cast post. I have seen no literature that suggests otherwise.
