One of the ways I use Injectafil is as the bulk of the final composite restoration. In other words a layer of flowable, then almost entirely filled with Injectafil, then a final enamel layer of exquisite, pulse cured.

Do I need to wait the full three minutes for the Injectafil to set before I proceed to add the exquisite enamel layer?

I would think that I could proceed almost right away? By the time I'm ready for my first pulse cure, that Injectafil ought to be set nearly to completion. I do realize that I can also light cure the Injectafil, but I like the idea that it is very low stress in the setting process without light curing.

Thanks

No. Give it a minute, then just hit the top surface with a flash exposure- 1 second or so. Then you can add the occlusal layer
