Hi, Dr.Kanca,

I am an associate in a practice in Washington state, and I use all of your products. I am very grateful for your products and the insights you share with us on these boards that lead to such great results.

We are getting Cerec next week and I am looking at Lava Ultimate blocks. The recommendations are that these be silanated but not acid etched. They are blocks made of a resin matrix with ceramic particles sprinkled in. How will that affect the usual ceramic bonding protocols with interface, surpass, and anchor?

Thank you,

RIX

Hey RIX

Simply applying Interface and then Surpass 2 is a perfect approach for Lava. I hope to be able to tell you if sandblasting adds anything but I suspect not.

Everything else remains the same.

Thanks for being part of the family!

The only debonds I have had with Lava Ultimate has been with the few I used SBU and Rely-x Ultimate on. All of mine with Interface, surpass and anchor have not debonded.
