Before the Seamfree came along, I used Visar Seal on the instruments and my glove to help pack the composite. When the Seamfree came out, I first used it instead of Visar Seal just on the instruments. Now I do place the Seamfree with the syringe between increments and since we had a bottle of Visar Seal, the assistant puts a little of it on her glove and I just touch the instrument to it and that helps to keep the composite from sticking to the spatula.
